i'm not doing Christmas

tinsel Formula 1 car on Balboa Island. See I tried to seek whimsy this year I am just removing myself from people so I won’t be a psycho.

Totally feel free to call me a Scrooge. I am not against Christmas. This is not some ‘I’m miserable so everyone else should also be miserable’ thing. I don’t react like a vampire seeing garlic when I see tinsel and twinkle lights. I am just finally acknowledging in my big age of being freshly 28 that I am not a holiday person.

Or more so the month of December. I am not a month of December person, and a few holidays just have the misfortune of falling into the 31 days of December.

I have been more or less fairly clear that I don’t like this month and what it does to me for a few years now. This year though I am fully not participating. I am not trying to drag anyone down into meh with me. I am not demanding I still be invited to things or that people should miss me when I am not there. I am simply opting out for the betterment of everyone’s good time.
