This year I finally made it to Cannes Lions, a massive week long festival in France for all things marketing and creativity. A full video review will be up on Swell Entertainment soon. Let’s run through all my badges and wristbands, what they were for, how I got them, and a bit about each spot so you can hopefully have a better understanding of the event and how it functions if you decide to go in the future.

  1. My actual Cannes Lions Creator badge

    This is what got me into the actual Cannes Lions Festival. Some of the following activations and beaches asked if I had a badge at registration or had separate lines for Cannes Lions badge holders but many did not. Often they would just want to know so they could scan it to have your data. You absolutely do not need to have an official badge to make the most of the festival. I talked with many people who have been coming for years and have never had a badge. Cost was

    €1,422.
